The Grand Rapids franchise of Pro Volleyball Federation revealed its new brand identity for West Michigan’s first major-league women’s sports team — the Grand Rapids Rise. The Pro Volleyball Federation franchise – founded in December as West Michigan Pro Volleyball – unveiled its name and identity on Friday in a first-intermission ceremony during the Grand Rapids Griffins’ regular-season home finale at Van Andel Arena.
